{Mike and Mattie}

Lake Burton is probably one of the most beautiful places in the world... every time I go there I feel like I'm in Montana. I really love it. After talking with Mattie about her engagements I knew this would be the perfect spot for these two :) Mike and Mattie love golf and play all the time together, so it is a special part of their relationship.. we found a perfect spot to capture them at a golf course thanks to my friend Betsy NeSmith! This shoot was one-of-a-kind, just like the couple :) Enjoy your engagement guys, you two are perfect for each other. (... Mark!... haha...) ~austin and katie~

Fiesta. Surprise. Sunset!

Austin and Katie had no idea they were getting a Mini-Engagement session until... well... about 5 minutes before the shoot! A close friend of mine and a few of her friends threw Austin and Katie a "Fiesta" themed Wedding Shower, here's the kick- the host gift was a Mini-Engagement session! (Great idea!) Right when Austin and Katie walked in they were handed a gift bag... they opened the gift to find a frame- with no picture-but with a note that said: "Reserved for your Engagement Photo!"... and just like that I took them outside and took their photos. A beautiful sunset surprised us too! Loved this shoot.. Enjoy~
